Who is Bookish Bison?

We are Chris & Jess Leigeber. Our children are Jacey & Cohen and our fur babies Aubbie & Teddy. We are Alabama natives that moved to the area in the winter of 2024. As avid lovers of reading and craft beer, our goal is to bring great books and bookish things to the Sioux area and connect with the community by teaming up with local authors, breweries, coffee shops, and setting up at local events.

What is Bookish Bison?

Bookish Bison is a mobile bookshop fully enclosed in a 16ft trailer. This gives us the flexibility to bring a traditional bookstore experience to the front door of communities waiting on their next great read. Located in Tea, SD , we look forward to visiting all of the surrounding areas!
